The paper has been published since 1994. It was been published by Lisa Snell since 2008.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started journalism in high school and went on to work in radio, then graphic design before finally working for my tribe's newspaper as a designer, writer and photographer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My newspaper is the only independently owned Native American newspaper in the state.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We distribute to more than 250 locations per week and cover roughly half the state.
